Short and Long 0

Today, we reviewed the letter Oo can make a short sound like in hot, stop and not. Then, we learned that it also makes a long sound like in no, go and open. Then, we copied the vocabulary in our Phonics Dictionary.

Today, we  each wrote one of the words with the Magic -e illustrated on the worksheet on the blackboard. We are getting really good at spelling! Then we sorted the words into the Long I and Long O columns. Have a look!
