The two sounds of th -1

This week, we are learning that the letters th can make two different sounds. Sometimes, they make the same sound as in bathroom, think and mouth. However, they can also make the same sound as in father, weather and there.

-or like in corn, horse and morning

-oar like in board, snowboard and skateboard

-ore like in store, more and bored

-oor like in door and floor

Long u sound with -ue spelling

Today, we have started to review the Long U Sound with the -ue spelling like in blue, glue and Tuesday. Remember that this spelling of the Long U Sound is found in the middle or at the end of words, never at the beginning. Let´s review!
