Today, we are learning about the Long i Sound with the Magic -e spelling like in bike, five and nine. Let´s have a look at the vocabulary and play a game! We also did these vocabulary worksheets from our packet!
This week, we have started to review the Long I sound with the -y and -ie spellings like in fly, cry and spy as well as flies, cries and spies. Let´s review!
Today, we are reviewing and learning about some spellings of the Long /e/ Sound:
-e like in he, me and hero
-e_e like in here, these and compete
-ey like in monkey, donkey and keys
We also copied the -ey words in our Phonics Dictionary.
Next Friday , we are going to have our Long /e/ spelling test (exam). Do you remember how to spell the words? Let´s review by playing the riddle game.
