Sentences with Long /e/ Spelling Words

Today, we brainstormed sentences with our Long /e/ spelling words and copied them in our notebook.  We are getting quite good at this! Have a look!

The Letter Yy - My Family

Today we reviewed that when the letter Yy

-is at the beginning of a word, it is a consonant and it makes the same sound as in yogurt, yellow and yes.

-is at the end of a word, it is a vowel and it can make the Long E sound like in happy, January and sunny.
